At the moment the cooperative has around 350 producing fellows and 200 in exporting activity, number that increase year to year, by the prestige that has been known to demonstrate.

Services

Technical Advising: CALAPIS has an apicultural technician, who advises to producers free and offers an important support in the objective to produce quality honeys.

Product´s Sales : The cooperative acts as pull of purchases, to reduce the costs of products, in addition it grants financing at moments at which honey does not exist, to pay them at the end of harvest season.

Laboratory: It has a laboratory where samples are analyzed, at reduced costs, which assures a suitable sanitary diagnosis. It also serves to make quality control of honeys, that permits colour and humidity separation.

Extracting honey services: This service is made in a modern plant, with excellent infrastructure, that allows us to make an optimal process under conditions of hygiene and security, assuring the quality product manteinance.

Courses: The development of the apiculture depends on the presence of professionals, in this sense the cooperative scope has allowed to state support for the dictation of initiation courses and beekeeper and technician specialization. Key aspect in the future progress of the beekeeping system.
